Two hundred and forty is the entry case for Mosa, and it suits a café, a small dessert kitchen or a bar that uses a whipper daily rather than continuously. The cartridges are 8g and fit a standard cream whipper without any additional hardware. Beyond whipped cream they handle espumas the sweet or salty foam toppings used to finish a dish. Mosa's cartridge range extends well beyond catering, into carbonating soda and industrial applications.
How the 240 case compares to the 600 case
At 240 chargers, this is smaller than the 600-charger Mosa case also stocked here, roughly two-fifths its size. It suits a café or a small dessert kitchen using a whipper daily rather than a larger kitchen running through cartridges continuously across multiple stations.
Both cases use identical 8g Mosa cartridges manufactured at the same Yunlin plant, so choosing between 240 and 600 is purely a matter of matching order size to a kitchen's actual weekly throughput rather than any difference in the cartridges themselves.
Fitment and manufacture
The cartridges are the standard 8g size, fitting a cream whipper directly without a regulator or adapter the same fitment as the larger Mosa case. Mosa produces them at its Yunlin, Taiwan plant alongside a wider range of disposable gas cartridges used well beyond catering, including soda carbonation and tyre inflation.
Ordering to match kitchen size
For a smaller kitchen, 240 chargers is easier to store and rotate through than the 600-piece case, while still giving enough headroom to avoid ordering weekly. If usage grows, moving up to the 600 case uses the identical 8g cartridge, so there is nothing to relearn about fitting the whipper.
Ordering little and often in the smaller case also makes it easier to spot a change in usage before it becomes a storage problem.
