Kitchens that rotate a flavour every few weeks tend to want the small cylinder rather than the big one, and that is where the 320g Blueberry Blast earns its place. It carries the gas of over 45 conventional 8g chargers, enough for a run of mousses, cheesecake foams or berry espumas without committing to a two-kilo tank. The nitrous oxide inside is food grade at 99.95% purity, and every cylinder is checked for fill before it is dispatched.

How the 320g compares to the rest of the range

320g is the entry point of PrimeWhip's cylinder line: roughly half the fill of the 640g, about a sixth of the 2000g XL, and under a tenth of the 3000g XXL. That scale makes it the size to trial a flavour in before committing to volume useful for a seasonal berry special, a pop-up stall, or a new dessert being tested on a short run before it earns a place on the main menu.

Once a Blueberry Blast dish has proved itself and moved from a trial to a regular menu item, the same flavour is also sold in the 640g body, which halves how often the cylinder needs changing for the same rate of use.

Fitment and compatibility

It is a cylinder rather than a loose cartridge and needs a pressure regulator fitted to its neck to feed a standard whipping siphon; it will not thread directly into a charger holder built for 8g cartridges. Once fitted, the same regulator works for any cylinder size in the range, not just this one.

Storage and handling

Keep it upright in a cool, dry spot away from direct sun, heat sources and cooking equipment. The cylinder is filled and sealed for single use, so there is no refilling step and nothing to check beyond keeping it secure and away from foot traffic until it is connected to a whipper.
