PrimeWhip Food-Grade Cream Charger 320G Saturn (Unflavored)

Saturn is the unflavoured cylinder in the PrimeWhip range, and it is the one to specify when a dish cannot carry an added aroma savoury espumas, stock foams, delicate pastry cream, anything where the chef has already built the flavour. The gas is food grade, stated at 99.95% purity and free of oily residue. At 320g it holds roughly 45 traditional cartridges' worth, and it attaches to a whipping siphon through a pressure regulator.

Who reaches for the unflavoured 320g

Saturn's neutral fill is aimed at chefs testing a new base rather than serving a set menu at volume a savoury foam in development, a delicate pastry cream being adjusted, a recipe not yet locked down. The 320g size matches that use case: it is the smallest cylinder in the range, roughly a sixth of the 2000g XL and under a tenth of the 3000g XXL, so a kitchen is not left holding several kilos of neutral gas once the recipe is finalised and production scales up.

It also suits a kitchen that only occasionally needs a neutral gas alongside a mainly flavoured programme, rather than one built around Saturn as its everyday fill.

Fitment and compatibility

It is a cylinder, not a loose cartridge, and needs a pressure regulator fitted to the neck to feed a standard whipping siphon rather than a charger holder. The same regulator is used whichever PrimeWhip cylinder size the kitchen buys.

Moving from testing to production

Once a recipe is settled and the kitchen is running it at volume, the 640g or 2000g Saturn cylinders carry the same neutral fill without the more frequent changes a 320g body would need on a full service, so the transition from R&D to production doesn't mean switching supplier or flavour.
